World Domi-NoTiOn is the long awaited follow up to his debut mixtape, It’s My Turn…, back in 2006. Since dropping the latter, Notion has been rockin’ shows all around Melbourne, collaborating with a gang of artists, prolifically writing raps on some Lil’ Wayne shit, all the while working on both his production and engineering chops. Mixing and mastering both World Domi-NoTiOn and The Soul Movement Volume 2 – fifty plus songs in less than two months, all the while working night shift – Notion has more than proven his skills behind the desk.

This mixtape is a culmination of the last two years worth of work, and with such a large pool of songs to select from, Notion selected the 26 tunes that the people felt the most. Known for his tight beat selection, lyrical dexterity and unmistakable swag, Notion has delivered another banger with some of the dopest industry beats from today, and some hella fresh original production. Mixed by DMC finalist DJ Crusador, World Domi-NoTiOn features production from Melbourne representers Da-Phai (Cee & Bekah, Chap 1), NeeQ and Durban Poison (‘The Come Up’, the PlanetUrban.com.au Exclusive that reached #1 on their charts), as well as guest appearances from GMC, Theory, Chapter One, Fluid, Whisper and of course, The Movement Fam.

Includes unlimited streaming of World Domi-NoTiOn The Mixtape - Mixed by DJ Crusador via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.

lyrics

This one here is for my riders man... everyone's been kick pushin' a while... get ya pedal on...

[Verse 1]
First got it when I was five, couldn't even ride,
Thats why, I had to have to two trainin wheels up on the side,
I took 'em off, to get all them dudes watchin',
I had options, rockin' that oldschool Hoffman,
I upgraded as the years went on,
To that Haro GT, with them new style bars,
Bustin' tricks, tail spins, located at the Gully spots,
Bmx shop, is where I learnt my first bunny hop,
& ain't no question not, to know I was the game shark,
Up & down the train line, tourin' all the skate parks,
Grind along the spine, launch into the quarter pipe,
Its sorta like, the feelin when you land a trick, or rock the mic,
Kissin that lip at night, Focalpoint behind the lights,
Tighten up the pegs, so I can go back and grind it twice,
Leave em shook, gel seat to fight the metal tush,
& then ya hooked, white pin-stripes, just for a better look,
You go & ya take it out, compact all the dirt jumps,
Pullin out tricks thats difficult, ya finna hurt somethin',
Feelin invincible, no brakes, so no turnin back,
Jump of that, grind on this, from the bowl & back,
& I got love for that, rollin on the tyres strong,
Whether you kick-push, or ryde homie, grind along,
Alloy frames, there's no weight in there,
So its lucky these lil two wheels can take you there, so then ya.. (24)

Hook:
Pedal push, pedal push, pedal push, pedal push & cooooast!!
& thats the way we roll, put some air up in the tyres & away we go.. & then
We Pedal push, pedal push, pedal push, pedal push & cooooast!!
Some come & ride with me, see yall down @ the bowl, where them riders be, &
Then we...
X2

[Verse 2]
10 years on, stil got a passion for the action,
Coz ya must of fell in love with all the grazes & the gashes,
Bent spokes, & wheels, & them minor abrasions,
Never fear the ambulance, its out front waitin',
Hahah too impatient, to pause as a patient yo,
Then I launch up, & out the window where the safety goes,
Im never shaky bro, commit to every drop in,
As long as there's air in the tyres, I'm never gon stop it, huh, (8)
Ya gotta watch it, nearly every single move,
Coz now im gettin stronger, bustin out wit bigger moves, dude,
Saturday comes, the thing to do, was makin ramps,
Halloween comes, im still on my bike, but in a Jason mask,
Parents are ravin mad, im off down the skatin paths,
Tryin to find the dope spots, & (askin) who they can ask?!,
& on the way back, I slipped, & sparked the chain..,
Broke as hell, usin my money for spare parts again,
We got to play, its another day, & your grown up,
Ya stil rydin home, coz ya love won't budge,
& they're, alloy frames, there's no weight in there,
So its lucky these lil two wheels can take you there, so then ya.. (20)
